ViDa Eats Catering Has Transitioned

At the end of 2025, Chef Maggie transitioned the catering side of ViDa Eats Catering to new owner, and previous partner Courtney Gunn.

Maggie and Courtney worked alongside one another at a previous shared commercial kitchen space before Maggie and Tyler opened Le Clare's Patisserie in Denver where they were able to rehome the catering business as well.

Maggie is helping Courtney transition the catering business to the rebranded "Uneven Cracker Catering" which has essentially taken over the same menu, client list and service areas. Maggie
Chef Maggie, born and raised in upstate NY, comes with a history of fitness and food. After (the first time) moving out to Denver, CO in 2010, she became a certified Sous Chef with the American Culinary Foundation, and received her personal training certification through American Council on Exercise (ACE). She worked throughout the service industry (wine bars, catering businesses, managing, restaurants, waitressing) before realizing it was in order to collect all the skills to bootstrap her first successful catering business "Mezcla Maggie." After 5 years, she fortunately sold the business in exchange for her desire to travel, where she and her husband Tyler decided to combine powers. They traveled the world and returned to Denver, CO to begin ViDa Eats out of their desire to offer their clients food that represented the richness of local artisans and the purity of quality local ingredients. They open Le Clare's Patisserie in July 2024 and shortly after closed the retail store in July 2025 to pursue more cooking classes and culinary experiences.

Lacey Avery is the Financial Officer and Operations Manager at ViDa Eats Catering. Before joining the close-knit team at ViDa Eats, she gained experience as an Operations Manager for a marketing agency as well as a third-party insurance administrator, responsible for the company's operations, HR, and billing departments.
